Rebecca Louise Kelly

Hi, I am Rebecca Louise Kelly, owner of Haelan Therapy.  I am a Reiki Master Teacher, Massage Therapist, Reflexologist, Transformational Coach and Equine Facilitated Coach.

I began my journey in holistic therapy in 2010 after my mum was diagnosed with cancer.  My experience with mum made me realise the importance of making every day count and ensuring that my life was about what I ‘wanted’ and 'wished' to achieve.   In 2011 I decided to follow my interest in holistic therapy and follow the path to help people transform their lives.   At the core of my work is a belief that when people look after their wellbeing, raise their awareness of and release deep emotional self limiting beliefs, they can ultimately become the very best they can be both for themselves and for those around them.

Here at Haelan, we offer a wealth of holistic treatments.  My  team draw on array of skills which stretch the length and breadth of the holistic arena.  I am very proud to be working with such an amazing team of therapists.  We look forward to meeting you soon and helping you begin your journey with us.

Johanna Osborn

My name is Jo Osborn, a Reiki Master Practitioner, Energy Healer, Transformational Coach and Equine Facilitated Coach.  I am also a co-author of The Book of Energy Healing.  This is my story.  At Haelan Therapy my aim is to bring Reiki and Energy Healing to the foreground.  After experiencing physical and emotional dis-ease in my early 20's and relying on conventional medicine to help me 'get better', I was amazed how after the birth of my children 10 years later, these conditions miraculously disappeared.  I suddenly felt free from discomfort and feeling unwell and although becoming a mother bought with it its own challenges, I felt I had let something go and my body was telling me so.   Click HERE to read more about Jo.

Karenanne Hay

Hi, I am Karenanne Hay. I am inspired by the potential of all human spirit. I specialise in helping people make the best of their lives. My belief is that everyone has the capacity to be exactly who they want to be. Within my treatments I look to treat the whole person rather than just a set of symptoms and my role is to enable people to release tension, stress and worry so they can feel more grounded to make the next move in their life.

My training began over 20 years ago and therefore I bring to Haelan a wealth of knowledge which spans across reflexology, massage, reiki and counselling. Having experienced my own pain and suffering, I believe that with the right support, everyone has the ability to do the same both inside and out. I look forward to meeting you soon.

Philip Storey

Hi, I’m Philip and I teach meditation and facilitate Reiki Healing treatments at Haelan Therapy.  I came to meditation and Reiki through my own journey with life’s stresses and strains. Working in the city as a director of a large technology company, I was seeking to find the answer to “what does freedom from stress feel like?”, I became interested in meditation, trying various apps and podcasts.  A few months on, I was invited to meditate with friends in a small group.  As I practiced more, I felt the stress leave me.  My focus, balance and harmony was restoring and I felt better every day.  This is when meditation became a regular practice for me.   Click HERE to read more about Philip.

Sarah Tomlin

Hello, I'm Sarah. I trained in Swedish body and deep tissue massage with the intention of helping others to heal.  I aimed to do this primarily through easing stiff and achy muscles, soothing tired joints and repairing misalignments of the body. Through my own personal experience, it soon became apparent that as well as paying attention to our physical complaints, the nurturing of our minds is essential if we are to realise our full potential.  I consider a massage treatment to be more than manipulating muscles and joints; it is taking the whole person and recognising their particular needs at that particular time.  I believe that 'you' are the most important aspect of the treatment and it is this philosophy that drew me to Haelan.  Click HERE to read more about Sarah.

Faye Coulson

Hi, I’m Faye, and I’m a Biomagnetism Therapist. I grew up with holistic therapies being our first port of call for all health problems, but my path to becoming a practitioner wasn’t the most linear! I studied Zoology at University and then went on to study postgraduate law.  On completing all my years of study I started working as a designer and founded a social enterprise, Sujuu, which empowers female artisans in Kyrgyzstan.  I discovered Biomagnetism after I had 14 kidney infections in 12 months and was desperate to find a solution where conventional medicine was failing me.  Since my very first treatment I have never had another infection.  Click HERE to read more about Faye.

Adeline St John

Being a local gal, I find it a real joy to work with local businesses and it is a real pleasure to work with Team Haelan.  The girls' passion and enthusiasm is very infectious and promoting them socially is a real pleasure.   My ethos at The Media Snug is that smaller companies should have the same opportunities on social media, as the larger companies do.  Using my experience working with corporates, I get great satisfaction in knowing that I am supporting Haelan Therapy to grow to their full potential locally.  We share the Haelan message across 3 channels, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.  We blog on a monthly basis with relevant and responsive topics and share all of our latest news and offers.  Don’t miss out! Please do follow us, tweet us, tag us on Instagram or review us on Facebook, we love to interact with our clients online!

Our Centre

Haelan Therapy is a holistic therapy centre with treatment rooms based in Hitchin and St Paul's Walden, Hertfordshire.  We pride ourselves in our ability to offer settings in both a busy and vibrant town centre (Hitchin) and a tranquil rural retreat (St Paul's Walden) for those wishing to escape the hustle and bustle of life in town.  We believe we can offer something for everyone in both of these locations.

Our centre in Hitchin is set amongst the hustle and bustle of Bucklersbury.  The street is a vibrant part of the town but once you enter the nurturing vibe of our centre you feel as if you are a million miles away from the general melee and hubbub.  Parking is available in the town's multitude of car parks.  Parking fees will apply.

Such a beautiful and tranquil space. The moment I walk into the treatment room, I immediately take a sigh of relief. I have arrived.
— Claire, Hitchin

St Paul's Walden

Our centre in St Paul's Walden is based at the Learning to Listen Centre in East Hall Farmhouse.   Set in the rural landscape of the Bowes-Lyon Estate, the therapy room feels like home away from home. As you arrive, just breathing in the fresh country air is enough to make you instantly relax.

There is something deeply lovely about arriving at the farm, being somewhere so quiet and welcoming.
